Kickers don’t get a lot of love. But at a crucial point in the game, when our Offense sputtered, a member of “The Bomb Squad” came through. Brad Nortman played an underrated role in this game that took us from inside our own 20 and flipped the field. A shank at that point could have caused a different outcome. This tweet summed it up well.

Yesterday showed that this team is tough. Go ahead and look for the newest run of bumper stickers to compliment those “Proud Parent of an Honors Student.” The C3 sticker will say “Our kicker beat up your band nerd.”

@jcdelatorre who opened the can of what? All the smacked you talked SHUT UP! This is our division until we get beat We're KINGS OF THE SOUTH

This is typical of most Bucs fans. Make some moves in the offseason and all of a sudden you are gonna be NFC South division champs. This joker, JC Delatorre, talked a TON of smack leading up to this game. He dogged the Panthers and lauded over the Bucs and even went so far as to say the Bucs were going to “Open a can o’ whoop ass” against Carolina. Well Mr. Delatorre, the can did get opened, but it was the Panthers that did the opening. I was so fired up after the win, I had to put old JC in his place and remind him of who the reigning champs are. We are KINGS OF THE SOUTH
Can't knock the band. They are always there no matter what the weather....even when the fans might not show up because they might 'melt' in the rain or snow. The band stands ready!
