Tony’s Pick:
This definitely sums up how I’m still feeling. You might as well call me “Mopey Tony” right now. The Panthers were awful last week. Frankly, there is nothing good to say about their performance. Carolina’s offense was anemic and that defense was well--not Panther defense. Whatever that was, it was looked second rate as Brees carved Carolina up, throwing 4 touchdowns in what felt like 14 minutes.
We struggled mightily to find any silver lining in this week’s show. This tweet may just be that glimmer Panther fans need, however. Last year, we got “Mopey Cam.” This we get “Maturing Cam,” who has demonstrated leadership and poise. If Rivera’s Panthers clean their performance this week by getting Cam some protection and resuscitating defensive pressure, we are still playoff bound. If not, we just may find ourselves to be “Mopey Fans.”
Joe’s Pick:
I hope Santa leaves Elf poo in the stockings of #Saints fans this year.

I selected this tweet because it is what many Panthers fans were feeling this past Sunday night. Coming into this game, the Panthers were hot. Having won eight in a row I felt the team would show up and at the very least make it a game. Well that did not happen. I just want the Saints to feel the same level of disappointment when they reach into their stockings and grab this special stocking stuffer, as I did watching the Beatdown in the Bayou.
