Execution Last Week: The team’s execution last week was poor as the 43-17 score would indicate. But let’s remember the Bengals were playing a very motivated New England team at home.
The fact the Bengals gave up 3 fumbles, failed to convert any third downs (0/7) , and only amassed 17 first downs for the entire game would also be an indicator the offense did not execute well.

Execution Last Week: Giving up 43 points to the opposing team screams poor execution. But it was worse than that. The Bengals gave up 220 yards rushing, allowed New England to amass 30 first downs, and gave up yards like the French gave up in World War II, to the tune of 505 yards.
That being said the defense was not at 100%. They were missing one of their best defenders, Vontaze Burfict. The Bengals are going to be playing angry and with passion. After a beat down like that Cincy will want to show the rest of the NFL last week’s embarrassing loss to the Patriots was a fluke.

Defensive Alignment: 4-3
Tendencies: New Offensive Coordinator, Hue Jackson, has increased this team’s commitment to the running game. Giovani Bernard is the engine to this offense, but their passing game is scary good. They have only giving up 1 sack this season. Field Goal percentage is less than 75%. On Defense, they are the only AFC North team to run a 4-3 Defense and are very aggressive. They do blitz often and have eight sacks on the season.
Standing: This coaching staff has taken the once hapless Bengals to four straight playoff seasons. They are not currently on the hot seat. Though they are under pressure to win the big games. They are 0-5 in the Playoffs and 2-8 in their last 10 Prime Time games.
Injury Report:
AJ Green is listed as questionable after re-aggravating a toe injury Wednesday at practice. All reports indicate Green will be inactive.
Vontaze Burfict has missed the last two games with his second concussion of the season. He was back at practice Wednesday and would be a huge boost to their defense
